Exhumierung von Massengräbern: Gerechtigkeit und Aufarbeitung für die Opfer des Jesidischen Genozids

Seit mehr als sieben Jahren unterstützt Nadia's Initiative Überlebende des Völkermords an den Jesiden von 2014, indem sie ihren Stimmen Gehör verschafft und Bemühungen um Gerechtigkeit, Wiederherstellung und Heilung anführt.

Beginnend Anfang 2025 und mit Unterstützung von NI – einschließlich Verpflegung, Ausrüstung, Koordination und Nutzung des Frauenzentrums – exhumierte und dokumentierte die Direktion für Massengrabangelegenheiten mehr als ein Dutzend Einzel- und Massengräber.

Dies stellte einen bedeutenden Schritt in Richtung Aufarbeitung und Abschluss für viele jesidische Familien dar.

NI veranstaltet eine Beratungssitzung mit wichtigen Vertretern und Vertreterinnen im Frauenzentrum

Um die Familien von Völkermordopfern und die breitere Gemeinschaft zu unterstützen, organisierte Nadia's Initiative (NI) eine Beratungssitzung im NI-Frauenzentrum, an der Regierungsvertreter aus vier wichtigen Direktionen teilnahmen, die für die Angelegenheiten der Opfer zuständig sind.

Die Veranstaltung führte zu unmittelbaren und greifbaren Ergebnissen, und viele Teilnehmer baten um ähnliche Gelegenheiten für künftiges Engagement. Das Frauenzentrum bietet nicht nur ganzheitliche Unterstützung für Frauen und Mädchen in der Region, sondern ist auch ein wichtiger Ort, an dem die Gemeinschaft Zugang zu wichtigen Ressourcen hat und Einblicke in dringende Probleme erhält, die ihr tägliches Leben betreffen.

Nadia's Initiative veranstaltet eine Abschlussfeier für die Teilnehmerinnen des Pilotprogramms im Frauenzentrum in Sindschar

Anfang dieses Monats feierte Nadia’s Initiative einen bedeutenden Meilenstein im Frauenzentrum in Sindschar, indem sie eine Abschlussfeier für die erste Klasse von Teilnehmerinnen des Projekts „Stärkung der Rolle der Frau durch Bildung und Berufsausbildung“ veranstaltete. Mehr als 120 Frauen und Mädchen absolvierten erfolgreich verschiedene Kurse in dem Anfang des Jahres eröffneten Zentrum.

Rehabilitation of Public Health Centers in Solagh and Al Hateen Villages

Nadia’s Initiative is working with Hungarian Interchurch Aid (HIA) to rehabilitate and furnish Solagh and Al Hateen(Dugure) primary healthcare centers (PHCs) in North and South Sinjar. The second healthcare project NI and HIA are collaborating on, once restored, these PHCs will provide access to quality healthcare for over 11,000 residents in the region.
